Washi ‘E’ is a panchromatic black and white film 3 ISO, Format 4x5, 12 sheets.
It is a panchromatic film, obtained from industrial films originally used for the creation of printed circuit board (PCB) masters.
It has a sensitivity of 3 ISO, so it has an extremely fine grain and high contrast.
The main characteristic of this film is that it is not sensitive to green. In this way, unique and creative visual effects can be achieved.
In the case of landscape photography we therefore recommend taking the exposure carefully, as all green areas of the image will be underexposed.
Washi ‘E’ is an excellent alternative for photographers using the Box Camera, offering them the possibility of obtaining a true transparent negative.This film can be processed in the same way as all classic RC photo printing papers. In this case, a green (not red) light must be used. Alternatively, it must be processed in complete darkness.
